We host wine tasting events throughout the year in our Brentwood shop. Our normal events include 7 pours accompanied by a delicious cheese board and crackers.
Special wine tastings are also presented regularly. These range from “Fine Wine and Charcuterie”, to “Premium Italian” with themed grazing boards and sweet treats and our ever popular “Champagne and Sparkling” events.

If you’re looking for a venue for a special event like a birthday, anniversary, work or Christmas party, we can come up with a bespoke package for you with no additional room charge.

We’re just a five minute walk from the Elizabeth Line station in Brentwood which offers connections to Shenfield and stations across Essex, East London and Central London.

English Wine Tasting at The Althorne Estate
Join us for a very special day out amongst the vines at the Althorne Estate in the Crouch Valley. We started stocking the wines of Althorne Estate this year and during tastings the Team at Taylor Wines and our Customers have been super impressed with the top quality from the aromatic Pinot Gris to the textured Chardonnay. This is your chance to try these wines at source in the beautiful Crouch Valley.
We’ll meet in Brentwood to take a coach at 11:15 to Althorne Estate where we’ll have guided tour and wine tasting followed by nibbles with wine. You’ll then have the opportunity to purchase wines directly from the Estate. On our return to Brentwood, you can enjoy a lovely cheese board with wines you have purchased from Althorne on the day. (Please note we cannot sell more wines on the day from the shop). £79.00 per person.
Royal Ascot
Join us for our famous day the THE races! This year, we're heading to Royal Ascot on Friday 19th June. We’ll leave by coach at 8:15 from the Holliday Inn, Brentwood. Guests will be welcomed with a Champagne reception, a fruit platter and pastries from Chantilly. On board, you can enjoy unlimited wine, champagne, lagers and soft drinks. Guest tickets include entrance to the Queen Anne Enclosure: Grandstand and Paddock.
The coach will leave Ascot at 19:05, returning to Brentwood for approximately 21:15. On board, guests can enjoy a cheese board, prosecco, lagers, port and soft drinks. Contact us for more details or see the home page. £249.00 per person.
